6th Lesson: "If you light a lamp for somebody, it will also brighten your path." - Buddist saying

"Once you begin to acknowledge random acts of kindness--both the ones you have received and the ones you have given--you can no longer believe that what you do does not matter." - Dawna Markova

I recently had the opportunity to help start a parent support program. Within a week of starting the program I had requested one of the parents to help a child with new onset diabetes. A week later I met with the mother of the child. She started crying when she said how she was helped. The wonderful mother who herself has a young child with diabetes, went above and beyond the 'support' you would normally expect. She acted as a surrogate mother for this family in giving all the help, love, affection, support and prayers. Mere words cannot describe the act of kindness this fantastic lady showed to this family.
I am just fortunate to be able to see, hear and interact with such wonderful people day in and day out of my professional life.

More to come..... Dream a lot, Think creative, Work hard and Succeed.
